수덕사 수덕여관, 충남 예산군 덕산면 나그네의 충남 구석구석 여행 ♣ 생명 있는 모든 것에 눈맞추고 ♣ 생명 있는 모든 것을 사랑하는 ♣ 모든 것으로부터 자유인 ♣ 나그네의 구석구석 여행 ♣ 이맘때 야생화, 한국의 고택과 전통가옥, 물이 있는 풍경, 국보와 천연기념물, 세상의 모든 약초 약용식물, 곤충과 벌레를 찾아나서는 나그네의 여행 앨범입니다. 티스토리, TISTORY http://muhsk1.tistory.com 나그네의 구석구석 여행 nageune-ui guseogguseog yeohaeng Every corner of the stranger modeun geos-eulobuteo jayuin, muhak Free from all, obscure Historic Spot of Yi Eung-No 이응노 선생 사적지 도기념물 제103호 고암 이응노 화백이 작품 활동을 하던 수덕여관과 우물, 암각화를 포함한 일대 1,504㎡가 기념물로 지정되어 있다. 이응노 화백은 전통과 현대, 동양과 서양의 세계를 접목하는 시도를 한 근현대 미술사에서 중요한 위치를 차지하는 예술가로 국내뿐만 아니라 유럽 화단에서도 높은 평가를 받고 있다. 수덕여관은 화백이 1944년 구입하여 6.25전쟁 당시 피난처로도 사용하였으며, 1959년 프랑스로 건너가기 전까지 머물면서 수덕사 일대의 아름다운 풍경을 화폭에 옮기는 작업을 했던 곳으로 유명하다. 수덕사 위쪽에서부터 내려온 좁은 개울물이 집 앞으로 흘러 지나가고 개울 건너편에 여관을 배치하였다. 가운데 안마당을 두고 'c' 자 초가가 감싸고 있는 여관은 일제강점기 때 지은 것으로 보이는데 여관만 아니라면 소담하면서 궁색하지 않은 전형적인 농가 모습이라 하겠다. 후면에는 이응노 화백이 사용하던 우물이 있다. 이응노 선생 사적지를 찾는 사람들은 바위 위에 새겨진 암각화를 먼저 찾는다. 이응노는 1967년 동백림 사건에 연루되어 옥고를 치렀고, 1969년 사면된 뒤 다시 프랑스로 떠나기 전 이곳에 머물면서 바위에 2점의 문자적 추상회로 암각화를 남겼다. 둘레 17m, 늪이 85㎝, 또 하나는 둘레 7.6m, 높이 75cm의 바위에 문자체로 그림을 조각하였다. 글자 같기도 하고 사람 모양 같기도 한 것이 역동적으로 표현되어 있다. 무엇을 그린 거냐고 묻는 이들에게 '사람이 살아가는 모습이며, 여기에 네 모습도 있고, 내 모습도 있다.' 영고성쇠의 모습을 표현했다.

A ground and surrounded thatched houses in arrangement of shape layout was constructed during the Japanese colonial rule and exhibits a typical humble farm house style rather than inn There is a well used by Yi eung-no in backyard, Visitors face firstly the artwork carved upon the surface of the rock, Yi eung-no left two pieces of rockart in the form of abstract leflers belore he left for France when he was freed from imprisonment related to Dongbaekrim spy scandal in 1967. Abstractly expressed letters were carved on the rocks with a diameter of 17m, a height of 85cm and a diameter of 7.6m and a height of 75cm.
