안동권씨 능동재사, 경북 안동시 서후면 성곡리 나그네의 안동구석구석 여행 한국정신문화의수도 안동 권태사 신도비 (權太師神道碑) Stele of Gwon Haeng Stele of Gwon 경상북도 문화재자료 제63호 정상북도 안동시 서 후면 성곡리 안동권씨 (權氏)의 시조인 태사(太師) 권행(權幸)의 신도비이다. 능동재사(陵洞齋舍) 왼쪽에 있다. 그는 후삼국시기에 고려와 후백제가 싸운 고창(안동의 옛 지명) 전투에서 고려 태조(太祖) 왕건(1建)을 도와 숭리함으로써 꿈신에 책봉되어 권씨를 사성(賜姓) 받았다. 조선 현종(顯宗) 2년 (1661) 권행의 24세손인 군수 권성원(權聖源)이 비를 세웠으며 전체 높이는 3.75m이고, 좌대의 귀부(龜趺) 위에 비신(碑身)과 용모양의 비머리(?首)를 얹었다. 비문(碑文)은 숙종(肅宗) 때 우의정을 지낸 미수(眉?) 허목(許穆, 1595 ~ 1682) 의 전서(篆書)이며, 비각은 1971년에 세운 것이다. Originally his surname was Kim, and he was a man of a powerful local family in the Andong area (called Gochang at the time). In 930, he supported Wang Geon, the founder of the Goryeo Dynasty (918-1392), in defeating Later Baekje during the Battle of Gochang. In recognition of his illustrious achievement, the Goryeo king bestowed upon him the title of meritorious subject and a new surname of Gwon, and renamed the area "Andong," meaning pacifying the eastern area." The stele was ere Haeng, in 1661, and the epitaph was composed by Heo Mok (1595-1682) who was a nowned scholar and politician of the late Joseon period.
