안동 고성이씨 탑동파 종택

안동 고성이씨 탑동파 종택 (安東固城李氏 塔洞派 宗宅) 국가민속문화재 제185호 경상북도 안동시 법흥동 나그네의 안동 구석구석 여행 한국 정신문화의수도 안동 Head House of the Tapdong Branch of the Goseong Yi Clan, Andong National Folklore Cultural Heritage No. 185 Beopheung-dong, Andong, Gyeongsangbuk-do 본채는 조선 숙종 30년(1704)에 좌승지 이후식이 지었고 북정은 영조 51년(1775)에 진사 이종주가 지었다고 한다. 솟을대문채. 사랑채, 안채, 정자와 연못 등이 잘 보존되어 있다. 나중에 방앗간채, 사랑채, 외양간채가 더 지어졌다. 사랑마당에는 연못이 있고. 안채의 동쪽에는 3칸 크기의 사당이 있다. 안채는 정면 8칸, 측면 6칸으로 높은 자연석 축대 위에 세워 졌다. 이 집은 숲이 우거진 야산과 계곡에 흐르는 물을 건물과 잘 조화시켜 사대부 가옥의 전통양식을 잘 간직하고 있다. 國家民俗文化财第185号 This traditional Korean house, built in 1704 by Yi Hu-sik who served as a royalsecretary during the Joseon Dynasty (1392-1910), is the head house of the Tapdong Branch of the Goseong Yi Clan. A head house is the home where the family of the eldest male descendants of a lineage lives. The layout of the complex is typical of upper-class houses of the period and the original structures have been well-preserved. The complex is composed of a main gate with elevated roof, men's quarters, main quarters, a pond, and a pavilion which was built in 1775. The head house and its complex underwent an extensive repair in 1824, and the main quarters was reconstructed in 1991. This house is said to have been built on the former site of Beopheungsa Temple which dates back to the Unified Silla period (late 7th to early 10th century).
