안동 성성재 종택, 경북 안동시 예안면 부포리 나그네의 안동 구석구석 여행 한국정신문화의수도 안동 1. 성성재 종택(惺齋 宗宅) Head Residence of Seongseongjae 경상북도 민속문화재 제 159호 경상북도 안동시 예안면 부포리 조선 중기 학자인 성성재 (催齋) 금난수(琴蘭秀,1530~1604)의 가옥이다. 그는 본관이 봉화이며 퇴계(退溪) 이황(李滉)의 제자이다. 명종(明宗) 16년(1561) 생원시에 합격한 뒤 봉화현감. 등을 지냈으며 정유재란(丁酉再亂) 때에는 예안(禮安) 수성장 (守城將)으로 활약하였다. 사후 승정원(承政院) 좌승지(左承旨)에 증직되었다. 위패는 이 건물의 뒤편에 조성된 동계서원(東溪書院)에 봉안되어 있다. 이 종택은 정침(正經), 아래채, 사당으로 구성되어 있다. 사당은 정침의 우측에 있으며, 아래채는 '자형 맞배지붕이다. 18세기에 정침의 좌측에 있다. 정침은 정면 6칸, 측면 6칸 반 규모의 지어진 안동지방의 상류가옥으로 시대성과 지역성이 잘 드러난다. 또한 금난수는 35세 때인 1564년에 이 건물의 아래 동계(洞溪)가에 성재(齋)라는 정자를 짓고 학문에 힘썼는데, 퇴계 (退溪) 이황(李滉)이 손수 '성재(耀齋)라는 현판과 '팔영시(八詠詩)' 를 써주었다. 2.
