영천 조양각(永川朝隔閣)과 금호강이 있는 풍경

영천 조양각(永川朝隔閣)과 금호강이 있는 풍경 나그네의 영천 구석구석 여행 별의 도시 영천 조양각은 금호강 벼랑 위에 자리잡고 있으며, 명원루 또는 서세루라고 부르기도 한다. 고려 공민왕 17년138에 당시 부사였던 이용과 향내 유림들이 합심해 지었다. 원래 조양각을 중심으로 좌우에 청량당과 쌍청당 등 여러 건물이 있었으나 임진왜란 때 모두 소실되었다. 현재의 건물은 조선 인조 16년68에 다시 지은 것이 건물은 2단으로 쌓아서 만든 기단 위에 앞면 5칸, 옆면 3칸의 규모이며, 지붕은 옆모습이 여덟 팔자 모양인 팔작지붕 건물이다. 누각 안에는 포은 정몽주의 청계 등 시문 70여 점이 걸려 있다. 조양각은 영천지방 문화의 상징으로 영남 7대 누각 중 하나로 꼽힌다. Joyanggak Pavilion was first established in 1368 at the end of the Goryeo period (918-1392) by the local magistrate Yi Yong as part of the local government office. It was dest during the Japanėse invasions of 1592-1598 and rebuilt in 1638. It has since undergone various reconstructions and repairs. he pavilion has a larde hin-ànd-gable roof, and its wide wooden floor is enclosed by balustrades. Part of the pavilion features an underfloor-heated room with liftable wa allow the entire space to be opened up. Inside the pavilion hang more than 70 wooden plaques with poems composed by great intellectuals who visited this place, inc Jeong Mong-ju (1337-1392) a renowned scholar and a loyal subject of the Goryeo dynasty, and Yil (1536-1584), one of the most prominent Confucian scholars of the period (1392-1910).
