예천 명봉사, 경북 예천군 상리면 명봉리 나그네의 예천 구석구석 여행 경북의 중심 도약하는 예천 태실 유구보관소 문종 Stone Relics from the Placenta Chamber of King Munjong 경상북도 유형문화재 제187호 소재지 : 경상북도 예천군 효자면 명봉리 501 2014년 4월 정밀지표조사를 통해 문종태실 주변에서 확인된 석재 중 파손이 심해 복원부재로 사용하지 못한 석재들을 모아둔 곳으로 개첨석편, 사방석편, 동자석편, 전석편, 상석편 등이 있다. The stones collected here are fragments of those used to build the Placenta Chamber of King Munjong (r. 1450-52), which was discovered during a survey conducted in April 2014. These relics, including pieces of the roof stone, body stone, statue of a boy attendant, tile and table, were too badly damaged to be used in the restoration of the chamber. 명봉사 문종대왕 태실비 (鳴鳳寺 文宗大王 胎室碑) Stele for Placenta Chamber of king Munjong myeongbongsa Temple. 이 비는 조선 문종대왕(文宗大王)의 태(胎)를 안치하기 위해 세운 태실비이다. 원래 영조(英祖) 11년(1735) 에 명봉사 대웅전(大雄殿) 뒷편 산봉우리에 건립되어 있던 것을 일제 때 발굴하여 현재의 위치인 대웅전 우측 뜰에 옮겨 명봉사 사적비와 함께 세웠다. 태실비가 있던 곳에 사도 세자(思悼世子)의 태실비도 함께 있었다고 전해지고 있지만 현재 태실비 옆에 있는 명봉사사적비로 추정되고 있다. 귀부(龜時) 위에 비신을 세우고 용모양의 비머리(道)를 올려 놓은 일반형으로 지대석과 귀부가 한돌로 되어 있다. 전체 높이는 246cm, 비신의 높이가 113cm, 귀부는 61cm이고 대좌(臺座)의 높이가 12cm 이다. 귀부의 머리는 용머리고 입에는 여의주를 물고 있다. 비신 앞면에는 「문종대왕태실, 文宗大王胎室, 뒷면에「숭정기원후 일백 팔을 묘, 崇禎紀元後 一直入乙卯」라 음각한 비명으로 보아 이 비의 건립연대를 알 수 있다. 조선전기 제왕의 태실비로는 그 사례가 많지 않을 뿐만 아니라 규모나 전체적인 구성과 조각 수법에서도 매우 섬세하여 수준급의 작품이라 하겠다. Gyeongsangbuk-do Tangible Cultural Property No. 187Location : 501, Myeongbong-ri, Hyoja-myeon, Yecheon-gun, Gyeongsangbuk-do This 246cm-tall monument was erected in 1735, the 11th year of King Yeongjo, to commemorate the burial of the placenta of King Munjong. It was originally on a hill behind the daeungjeon hall of Myeong-bongsa temple before it was moved here. during the Japanese rule (1910-1945). The engraved slab with a capstone stands on a tortoise pedestal. The base stone and the pedestal are made of a single rock. The tortoise looks like a dragon holding a bijou in its mouth. Two intertwined dragons are carved on the front of the square capstone. On the whole, the composition and crafts-manship are highly refined. The words "King Munjong's Placenta Burial Site" are engraved on the front of the stele, and the date of the erection, 1735, on the back. 태실 유구보관소 사도세자(장조) Stone Relics from the Placenta Chamber of Crown Prince Sado 2014년 4월 정밀지표조사를 통해 사도세자(장조) 태실 주변에서 확인된 석재 중 파손이 심해 복원부재로 사용하지 못한 석재들을 모아둔 곳으로 사방석편, 주석편, 전석편, 상석편, 아기비좌 등이 있다. The stones collected here are fragments of those used to build the Placenta Chamber of Crown Prince Sado (1735-1762), which was discovered during a survey conducted in April 2014.
